Situated directly across from the Gulf of Mexico on the serene shores of Boca Grande Island near the historic lighthouse beach, this distinguished coastal residence underwent a comprehensive transformation following the impact of Hurricane Ian. Our objective extended beyond restoration as we aimed to elevate the home’s durability and beauty while honoring its architectural charm.
During the storm, the metal roof, entry staircases, and handrails sustained significant damage, allowing water to leak inside the home. In response, we took a proactive approach to not only rebuild but to reinforce. The new metal roof, reengineered stair structures, and custom Trex handrail system were installed using upgraded materials and advanced construction techniques, each component thoughtfully designed with longevity and coastal resilience in mind.
Inside, we restored storm-affected areas with precision and care, ensuring a seamless blend between repaired spaces and the home’s original design. Every detail, from layout continuity to clean finish work, was approached with craftsmanship and intention, resulting in a space that feels both refreshed and cohesive.
Working closely with the homeowners, we also curated a fresh exterior color palette that complements the surrounding landscape and enhances the home’s coastal character. The result is a home that not only stands stronger but feels renewed, perfectly suited to its beachfront setting.
This project reflects the balance of thoughtful design and structural integrity, delivering a residence that embodies both enduring beauty and practical peace of mind along the Gulf Coast.
