Venice Island Condo Remodel

Located just steps from the Gulf of Mexico, this Venice Island condo underwent a complete transformation designed to open up the living space and enhance its connection to the beachside surroundings. The original kitchen was small and enclosed, cutting off the flow and limiting both function and visual access to the view. Rather than simply removing walls, we reimagined the entire layout, expanding the kitchen’s footprint to create a more open, airy, and sophisticated space tailored for both everyday living and entertaining.

At the heart of the design is a large custom kitchen island that anchors the space. Not only does it provide ample seating and a natural place for gathering, but it also offers cabinet storage on all sides, combining beauty with practical function. This reconfiguration allowed us to introduce unobstructed sightlines to the view of the beach, flooding the main living area with natural light and a sense of calm, coastal openness.

The remodel included bespoke wood cabinetry, quartz countertops, and premium fixtures that reflect a modern coastal aesthetic. We incorporated LED pancake lighting throughout to maintain clean ceiling lines while providing even illumination. TESARO wood-look porcelain tile flooring was chosen for its warmth, durability, and timeless appeal. The master bathroom was elevated with herringbone porcelain tile, dual niches, and brushed nickel finishes for a refined spa-like experience. A custom walk-in closet system was built to maximize storage without compromising on elegance. Additional features included a shiplap-accented entertainment wall, plantation shutters, upgraded hardware, and carefully coordinated finishes throughout.

This project was a study in balancing form and function, delivering a seamless blend of craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and coastal luxury. The result is a refined yet relaxed home that captures the essence of beachside living with elevated comfort and style.
